We love any chance we get to style holiday decor and set the mood for the season. Here’s our take on Halloween.

We are welcoming October with colder temperatures and the promise of a holiday season that starts with Halloween and ends with the New Year. To kick off the holiday season, our McGee & Co. styling team curated two tasteful yet playful tablescapes that has us feeling inspired for hosting themed dinner parties at home. Get inspired with the images below and shop the looks to set a spooky scene all your own.

01

Hauntingly Sophisticated

This Halloween tablescape sets a hauntingly elegant vibe with its deep, jewel-toned palette and carefully curated details. The lush centerpiece, featuring dark foliage and berries, adds an organic yet eerie touch, perfectly enhanced by the artful display of fruits and gourds that subtly nod to the harvest season. The Melita Napkins and Marick Tumblers seamlessly tie in the rich red hues, while the decorative skull band on the Calavera Skulls Tray adds a touch of understated spookiness—so chic you might almost miss it. This tablescape strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and seasonal spook, setting the stage for an unforgettable gathering.

02

Playfully Spooky

For the tablescape, we utilized a darker color palette and layers of texture to bring in spooky vibes. Moody colors, like burgundy and black, complement the earthy browns and greens, then a touch of gold for high contrast. We also incorporated the Rosario Taper Holder which has a really great twisted-iron detail that elicits the spirit of Halloween. The tablescape came together with the addition of an antique skull, a few decorative spiders, and a menu of chocolate deserts, cherries, and red pears to match the color palette. Don’t forget to light the candles to set the scene.
